Mommy and Me

Mommy/Daddy and Me groups are offered to children with special needs from birth to 4 years old.  


BASAC offers all children a social experience through moving and playing together, helping to enhance their childhood
and the interactions they encounter with others as well as offering a new medium of communicating and expressing their feelings.

Classes introduce toddlers to the dynamics of rhythm and music; promoting creative movement while enhancing coordination and overall gross motor skills. Children of early ages are nurtured in an inclusive and rewarding environment where they may begin to explore and understand the interrelatedness of musicality and mind/body creativity.

Groups are kept small to accommodate the needs of each individual child. A variety of gross motor play, social games, rhythmic interaction, sensory stimulation and relaxation activities are utilized during groups to work on improving social interaction skills, self-expression, focus, impulse control, self-awareness, eye contact and increased self-esteem--just to name a few—all while having fun playing with family and new friends.
